Appearance: Kairi is the shortest out of her two best friends. She has red-ish hair cut just slightly pass her shoulders and bright blue eyes. She doesn't really have any muscles so she can be seen as a little weak(but she is not!). She wears a pink dress/skirt with a white top underneath it, a black hood on the top of her dress, and a belt that has a small sidebag. Like this! ♥~

Personality: Kairi is an upbeat girl. She's quite mature but can be immature around her best friends (isn't everyone?). She's a super friendly and kind girl, but she may have bits of lazy moments once in a while. She's also really optimisitc and a very good listener. Spending most of her time on an island with an abundance of seashells and sea stuff, she's really creative in making little charms out of them. She may look weak and fragile on the outside, but she has a very strong heart, and she would go to great lengths to protect the people she loves(so yes, she can fight!). Also, not having any parents, Kairi grew up to be an independent girl.

History: Not much can be said about Kairi's past. She doesn't remember much about her earlier childhood. On a night of a meteor shower, Kairi suddenly arrived on Destiny Islands, and she was found by Sora. Ever since then, Sora, Kairi, and Riku became best friends. When Sora became the Keyblade Master, they found out that Kairi was one of the Seven Princess of Hearts (meaning her heart is really pure!). She lost her heart for a while but then regained it back shortly after Sora rescued her. In the end of Kingdom Hearts, Kairi was left back on Destiny Islands while Sora, Donald, and Goofy went off to search for King Mickey and Riku.

While she was left on Destiny Islands and Sora was at Castle Oblivion, Kairi began to forget Sora. At the beginning of Kingdom Hearts II, she started to remember that there was another boy on the island with them other than Riku. After sending a letter to the "boy she can't remember", she finally remembered his name, Sora! Then one day, when she was looking out to the ocean, Kairi was kidnapped by Axel. She escaped Axel's grasp but then Saix took her. She stayed captured until Naminé came to her rescue. Moments after the two girls escaped, they met up with Riku (who now changed looks for a disguise). Defeating heartlesses along the way, Riku and Kairi were finally reunited with Sora.
